People keep on saying that the new Clone Wars is too tame, tell that to the Jedi who's abouit to get his head smashed. And in case your wondering, no he did die, this show is no coward when it comes to death.
You realize that this is -seasons- into the show. Yes, after season 2, they finally found their balls and whoever was sitting in a dark closet waiting to write quality content, but it wasn't really until Season 4 that the show started taking complex issues into account. Seasons 4 and 5 have dealt with things actually worth talking about and actually got near what the Microseries had. I'd argue that Season 5 even finally started to match up with it in level of maturity, if not still a bit lacking in cinematic styling and storytelling.
And you can't say the movie was good, not even most die-hard fans of SW will say it was.
I will not argue that it's finally gotten to a point of maturity, but when I can see things like Transformers: Prime, Batman: The Animated Series, Samurai Jack, and SW:CW, they just generally feel better executed. I'm not calling you wrong, but I think it's still worth keeping everything in perspective.
You also have to tell this to General Krell; he literally got shot onscreen, and people still say that this show is tame? Not to mention people getting stabbed and slashed onscreen, being shot, and even falling to their deaths! Seriously, sometimes I wonder to myself; is anyone paying attention?
Still, I continue to love your motivationals and your points made. Very well done.

i think what wet on with riff tamsen has been the most violent we've seen in clone wars so far,.. that sharkdude killed elft and right.. and his deathm wow,,even showed his blown off head sinking
I am really starting to hate the haters of this show. It is so great but they say "Oh my God this show hates the EU and I hate it oh so much!" Man this is the worst time to be a Star Wars fan with all the clone wars and prequel hatred.
