People keep on saying that the new Clone Wars is too tame, tell that to the Jedi who's abouit to get his head smashed. And in case your wondering, no he did die, this show is no coward when it comes to death.

Take that genndy tartakovsky fanboys!

YODA: Boned, he is.

Star Wars is owned by George Lucas.

In my opinion, I actually preferred it when the show was mild and 'tame.' I myself do occasionally enjoy dark themes but...bleh. :p Too much.

You realize that this is -seasons- into the show. Yes, after season 2, they finally found their balls and whoever was sitting in a dark closet waiting to write quality content, but it wasn't really until Season 4 that the show started taking complex issues into account. Seasons 4 and 5 have dealt with things actually worth talking about and actually got near what the Microseries had. I'd argue that Season 5 even finally started to match up with it in level of maturity, if not still a bit lacking in cinematic styling and storytelling.

And you can't say the movie was good, not even most die-hard fans of SW will say it was.

I will not argue that it's finally gotten to a point of maturity, but when I can see things like Transformers: Prime, Batman: The Animated Series, Samurai Jack, and SW:CW, they just generally feel better executed. I'm not calling you wrong, but I think it's still worth keeping everything in perspective.

You also have to tell this to General Krell; he literally got shot onscreen, and people still say that this show is tame? Not to mention people getting stabbed and slashed onscreen, being shot, and even falling to their deaths! Seriously, sometimes I wonder to myself; is anyone paying attention?

Still, I continue to love your motivationals and your points made. Very well done. :salute:

People say this show is tame? Did they not see that guy getting impaled by a blunt weapon?

Yeah, and season 4 takes it even further (though they may have reacted to the first series, which was tamer in comparison to the others).

I am really starting to hate the haters of this show. It is so great but they say "Oh my God this show hates the EU and I hate it oh so much!" Man this is the worst time to be a Star Wars fan with all the clone wars and prequel hatred.

I'm trying to help you understand where we're coming from, but if you're to ignorant to listen I guess I'll just chalk it up to a lost cause.

Yeah, personally, I've been amazed by how much death this show gets away with. There's no blood, but I've seen characters impaled by lightsabers, shot through the chest by laser bolts, electrocuted, savaged by freakish animals, broken necks, strangulation via the Force, there have been implied decapitation, vivisection, bisection, characters are sucked out into space, blown up, crushed, defenstration, you name it! How some of these things make it past the censors is beyond me. Oh, and then there's Ahsoka Tano, who is the biggest piece of JAILBAIT I have ever seen on television! Seriously, Lucas, what were you thinking, making her under eighteen?

Shame indeed, my one problem with the series was that he followed up on the little tradition of his and didn't give that Goth girl that liked Lance a real name.

Kinda like Durge and Jack. (Seriously, do they ever say his REAL name?)
