A Memorial for Pyrrah Nikos

This has been the first time in a long time I was this affected by a character's death. The last time I remember being this devastated was over Dinobot in Transformers Beast Wars when I watched that show six years ago. 

I didn't cry when Newt died in Alien 3, I didn't cry when Han Solo died in The Force Awakens, I didn't cry when Quicksilver died in Age of Ultron, but I cried for Pyrrah.

Right now I am hoping and praying to god everyday that Pyrrah will come back in one form or another, as a vision/guardian angel to Jaune ala Joan of Arc (since he's based on her), or that Cinder merely transported her to Salem (since Amber survived the exact same arrow to the chest attack and Cinder seems to magically pull out her bow and arrow out of nowhere it's possible she just teleported Pyrrah.)

I love RWBY, it is sadly the best thing anime has to offer right now, but this move made me a little sick to the point where I've lost my appetite, have a little trouble sleeping and have decided to write a freaking fanfic about it.

I will still watch volume 4, 5, and beyond as long as they have Jaune still mourn over Pyrrah and not get another girl. I seriously hope Jaune doesn't end up with Ruby as that would be, in my opinion, a really shitty thing to do, a real dick move. Arkos is the only ship I can see with Jaune or Pyrrah as I think they're meant to be ala Sally and Jack. I mean it, if Juane ends up with Ruby I'll just pull a Michael Jones and rage quit. Well okay, if it is done well I'll still watch but I seriously think the only thing to do now is to have Jaune kill Cinder ala The Crow, how Eric killed Top Dollar and then have Jaune die from wounds and reunite with Pyrrah in whatever afterlife the world of Remnant has. Have Ruby and her team kill Salem since she's the big bad now, but let Jaune, Ren, and Nora have Cinder. And make it nice, slow, and painful.

Honestly despite Pyrrah's voice actor saying she's dead I'm not so sure. Rooster Teeth has pulled this before with Red vs Blue with Donut, Church, Tex, Sister, Carolina, Lopez, all being 'dead' and then bringing them back. Beside it's not like she'd just up and tell us if Pyrrah would comeback as soon as it happened. It's not like Leonard Nimoy told the thousands of grieving Star Trek fans that Spock would be back after he died in Wrath of Khan.

I know that Pyrrah's death is to motivate Ruby, Jaune and the others but I think they went too far. Pyrrah's death made me not give a shit about Yang's arm being cut off, it made me go "Yang, I will get you a new arm! You can be like a freaking Skywalker, Pyrrah's dead! You can get a new robo-arm but not a new life, get over it! Count your freaking blessings."

I know that's a bit mean spirited, but it's how I feel.

Anyways, if Jaune ends up with anyone besides Pyrrah I will go all Die Hard With a Vengeance on Miles and Kerry's asses.

EDIT: Okay, now that it's been a few months I can firmly say that i still feel it was a freaking idiotic and embarrassingly bad move on their part. I have gotten rid of any emotion factor and have looked at the situation as unbiased as I could and it's still a terrible idea that should be undone the moment they get the chance. It's Rooster Teeth's Dethroning Moment of Suck, without a doubt.
